TUNA WITH GINGER & PAPAYA

RECIPE

Ingredients:

2 tsp olive oil

1 garlic clove (minced)

1 tbsp ginger (minced)

½ cup rice-wine vinegar

3 tbsp honey

1-2 papayas (diced)

2 tbsp lime juice

1 lb tune steak (cut into individual slices)

¼ cup cilantro

salt & pepper (to taste)

Directions:

Add 1 tsp of olive oil to stir fry pan over medium heat. Add garlic & ginger, and allow to simmer until garlic is turning brown. Add vinegar, honey, and papaya(s). Cook for about 6-8 minutes, and stir occasionally. Finish off with lime juice, salt, and pepper.

Rub 1 tsp of olive oil onto the tuna steak, and season with salt & pepper. It depends on how thick your tuna steak is, but a good estimation is to cook each side for about 3-4 minutes.

On each plate, put a little salsa, place tuna on top, and add some more delicious salsa. Finish the plate with cilantro and lime juice.
