FRIED JALAPENOS STUFFED WITH CRÈME FRAICHE

Ingredients:

5-6 Jalapenos, de-seeded

¾ - 1 cup Batistini Extra Virgin Olive Oil

dash of salt + pepper

¼ cup crème fraiche

fresh cilantro leaves

½ cup spelt flour

1 egg


Directions:

Heat Olive Oil in a pan for a few minutes on medium. Dip the jalapenos in the egg, and then in the flour. Fry the jalapeno for about 2 minutes on each side.

In a small bowl, mix salt, pepper, crème fraiche, and cilantro leaves together. Lightly stuff the jalapenos with the crème fraiche mixture.

Serve immediately.
